My Story

Hey there, I'm John Stanik; thank you for stopping by! I started my career as an EMT and then a paramedic, saving lives and working on the front lines. I decided to take my passion for helping & healthcare to the next level and became a Registered Nurse with a BSN from Northern Illinois University.

But wait, there's more! I didn't stop there. I ventured into the Information Technology sector to become a Clinical Informatics Nurse. After four years in the IT realm, I ventured into the corporate healthcare world and became a Lead Learning Partner and Instructional Designer. With over ten years of experience, I've mastered the art of creating dynamic and engaging learning experiences!

When it comes to instructional design, I'm like a kid in a candy store. I get to play with awesome tools like TechSmith Camtasia & Snagit, Articulate Storyline 360 & Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, Vyond, and even WellSaidLabs.com. 

Collaboration is my middle name. I thrive in cross-functional teams and love working with diverse groups of people. Together, we create educational content that is not only effective but also super engaging. Trust me, learning has never been this fun!

Oh, and did I mention that I have a Master's degree in Instructional Design & Technology from the American College of Education? Yeah, I'm always hungry for knowledge and constantly striving to level up my skills.
